1. About the Service

Korea&You (K&U) is an independent, student-run platform created to help international students navigate campus life in Korea. It provides campus information, maps, cafeteria menus, notices, live chat, community posts, and contact features. K&U is not an official service of, affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any university. Verify official matters through official university channels.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for university students and prospective students, generally aged 14 and older. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

• Some community and account features require Firebase Authentication.
• You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account.
• Accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
• Notify the team promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorization.
• Accounts that violate these Terms may be suspended or terminated.

4. User Content and Conduct

Live chat and community content are public. Do not harass or threaten others, post discriminatory, illegal, infringing, deceptive, or spam content, impersonate another person, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service. K&U may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary. You retain ownership of your content and grant K&U a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display it solely to operate and promote the Service.

5. Accuracy of Information

Menus, maps, notices, and other campus information come from several sources and are partly maintained by volunteers. Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness are not guaranteed. Verify time-sensitive or official information through official channels and report errors through Contact.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service links to or embeds third-party services such as Firebase, Naver Maps, OpenStreetMap, and official university sites. K&U is not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, branding, code, and original content, excluding user content and third-party material, belong to K&U's creators and may not be copied or redistributed without permission except where an applicable license permits it.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. K&U is a volunteer, student-run project and does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, K&U and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the Service or reliance on its information.

10. Termination

K&U may suspend or terminate access for violations or security reasons. You may stop using the Service or request account and data deletion through Contact.

11. Changes

Material changes will update the date shown on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
