🌱 How It Started

K&U started as KNU Exchange during the 2026-1 semester.

Juyeon, the founder of KNU Exchange, noticed that it was surprisingly difficult for international students at Kyungpook National University to find useful information in English.

Simple things could become frustrating — checking university schedules, finding campus facilities, understanding cafeteria menus, or figuring out how things work in Korea.

So, we started with a simple question:

“What if international students could find all of this information in one place, in English?”

That idea became KNU Exchange.

🚀 From KNU Exchange to K&U

After seeing how the platform helped international students at KNU, we wanted to take the idea further.

KNU Exchange has now grown into K&U (Korea & You) — a platform designed not only for students at KNU, but for international students across different universities in Korea.

Our goal is simple:

To make information about university life and everyday life in Korea easier to find, understand, and use.
